Dew Point Calibration System

 The DCS system is a fully self-contained, calibration station capable of producing a flow of air (or nitrogen if you prefer) at a pre-specified range of dew-point temperatures from a minimum of -100 °C to a maximum of +20 °C. You can specify the exact operating range of the system and from this we will determine the most economical way to generate and deliver a precise calibration dew point to your test sensors. The DCS80 uses a single stage air dryer and calibrated needle valves, operated by solenoid drivers, to generate dew points in the range -80 to +20 °C. In the DCS100 a dual stage dryer gives a zero gas source of less than -100 °C dew point and set point generation is achieved by a sophisticated mass flow control methodology (VDS technology).

 

HG-1   

The HG-1 is a newly designed high precision, portable humidity calibrator. Using TDH Cooled Mirror instrument as its reference measuring equipment, humidities can be controlled across the range 5 to 95% rh (at room ambient operating temperature). The unit is fitted with two flow meters on the front panel and a re-chargeable gas dryer in the back of the housing allowing ambient air to be used to achieve the required humidity. Instrument air is, therefore, no longer necessary and enables calibrations to be made on-site. The sensor mounting plate can be customised to suit the instruments being calibrated.

 

HG-10

   The HG-10 is a completely automatic temperature and humidity calibration system, which can be used to calibrate humidity sensors over a wide range of temperatures and humidities. PC control allows start, end values, ramp speeds and dwell times to be selected following which the system automatically tracks the desired humidity/temperature profile and records the measured and reference values.

 

Opti-Cal

   The Opti-Cal is a stand-alone calibrator for RH sensors providing humidity and temperature profiling with an in-built, traceable cooled mirror reference hygrometer. The Opti-Cal compliments existing humidity generator range and adds the key features of temperature control, traceable reference and fast response.

   Opti-Cal offers the opportunity to provide local calibration of RH sensors, without the need to send them away to a traceable laboratory or contract on-site calibration services. Opti-Cal will provide calibrations that are directly traceable to International Standards over a wide relative humidity range, and at any set temperature from 10 to 50 ºC.

   Operation of Opti-Cal could not be easier. To set a particular humidity and temperature, just select the required values on the front panel thumbwheels. A digital output from the reference hygrometer can be connected to Opti-Cal's custom operating software to provide on-screen monitoring of the actual conditions, with chart recording and data logging facility. Alternatively, this data can be fed into an industry standard data-logging system along with information from the sensors under test. Humidity and temperature set points can also be initiated remotely via 0-10V impulse signals.

   System accuracy of +/- 0.2 ºC dew point and 0.1 ºC temperature, with a measurement uncertainty (achieved through UKAS calibration of the dew-point and temperature sensors) of around +/- 0.2 ºC at k=2 means that an overall uncertainty to better than 2% of measured value is achievable.
