The
FPVCS is a versatile portable vacuum calibration
system, which can be used for numerous applications.
The system can be used directly in the process
to calibrate instruments in situ, keeping
the process up time as long as possible.
With it's modular set up, the unit can be
configured for any vacuum range with a span
from 105 to 1000 torr. In the
operation various levels of complexity are
possible. From a simple operator's checking
tool to a sophisticated diagnosing instrument
with appropriate software for control and
data processing.
The
assembly consist of: a recipient with valves
and connectors to hook up with the instruments
to be inspected. A manifold of valves and
lines which connects the recipient with
a membrane pump and an air cooled turbo
pump. The vacuum gauging is carried out
by high accuracy Absolute Capacitance Manometers
or by high accuracy Capacitance Gauging
Devices (CDG's). Flokal provides NIST, DKD,
NMI and other traceable calibrations over
the entire pressure range for these vacuum
gauges.
Capasitanse
manometers, Pirani gauges, convection enhanced
Pirani gauges, other pressure transducers
and transmitters and mechanical gauges are
typical exmaples of instruments which can
be analyzed by the FPVC systems.
