   The HX49 series humidity transmitters are accurate, stable transmitters designed for harsh environments. The sensor is not effected by high humidity or most contaminant’s over a long period of time. The HX49 transmitters are temperature compensated for the full -30°F-130°F temperature range. They are available in ABS plastic housed wall mount or NEMA 4 duct mount enclosure. Output types are either a 4-20 mA or 0-5/0-10Vdc (field selectable) output. The units are reversed polarity and short circuit protected. Their unique design makes them a very stable and reliable humidity transmitter for many applications.

   The HX50 series transmitters are specially designed for monitoring indoor air quality in air conditioning, heating and ventilation industries. An optional sinter filter is available for harsh environments. The output on each unit can be configured to 0 to 1 Vdc, 0 to 5 Vdc or 4 to 20 mA.

   The model HX92A is an economical humidity transmitter, providing on-site continuous monitoring of relative humidity. It is a 2-wire transmitter with either voltage or current output. The transmitter output is linearized, and RH readings are temperature compensated. A thin-film polymer capacitor senses relative humidity. The sensor is protected by a stainless mesh-type filter that is easily removable for cleaning. The case and weathertight protection, and screws are provided for mounting the unit via internal hole. An unusually low minimum voltage of 6 V allows the use of large impedances for longer wire runs. The HX93A is a similar unit that provides transmitter outputs for both humidity and temperature.

    The HX93AC and HX93DAC transmitter provides remote or on-site monitoring of relative humidity and temperature. Both series output a linearized current or voltage signal proportional to the measured humidity or temperature. The HX93DA Series features dual built-in displays for local indication of both humidity and temperature. RH outputs are temperature compensated. Current output models enable placing of the transmitter at a remote location virtually any distance away from the readout or datalogging device. Units utilizes a thin-film polymer capacitor to sense relative humidity, and a Platinum 100 Ohm RTD to accurately sense temperature. A stainless steel mesh type filter protects the sensors, which is easily removable for cleaning. Mounting screws are easily accessible inside the rugged, ABS enclosure, which houses and protects the electronics to NEMA 13 specifications. A regulated power supply providing a voltage of 6-30V powers the HX93AC. An unregulated power supply providing a voltage of 12-24V powers the HX93DAC.

    The HX95 series RH/temp transmitters offer superior versatility, reliability, and performance in three models consisting of a low profile space mount, duct mount, and outside air mount model. Prewired base and plug-in electronics in the cover make installation quick and easy. Wiring is connected to the terminal block in the base and the cover can be snapped into place at a later time, allowing the user to mount and wire the unit without the sensor and electronics. Outputs available are either 4-20 mA, 0-5 Vdc, or 0-10 Vdc. The voltage output unit is jumper selectable for either 0-5 Vdc or 0-10 Vdc, all models are available with either 2% or 3% RH accuracy. Typical drift is less than 1% per year and all models can be quickly field calibrated using the HX95-CAL handheld one point RH calibrator. Just plug the HX95-CAL into the phone jack connector on the transmitter. The HX95-CAL displays the RH reference environment as well as the transmitter RH reading during calibration. A quick one point offset adjustment allows calibration in about 60 seconds without interrupting transmitter operation. The HX95, HX96, HX97 transmitters as well as the HX95-CAL feature a bulk polymer resistive sensor which will not be affected by surface contamination in dirty environments. As a result, you can expect long term stability with minimal drift. The HX97 outside air model is designed in a rugged case with the probe housed in an aluminum sheath allowing for uniform air flow, making it ideal for applications requiring a rugged RH transmitter to monitor outside air RH and temperature.

   New Relative Humidity Transmitter is a waterproof RH sensing element and package which is ideally suited for monitoring relative humidity and temperature in high RH/harsh environment applications or where washdowns are required. The unit is designed for continuous monitoring of relative humidity and temperature with ±2% RH accuracy.

   Both the sensor and electronics are contained in an epoxy-hardened enclosure designed for continuous service. A water-tight membrane filter is installed over the RH sensor for increased protection against high RH, contaminants and washdowns. The unit is designed to withstand 100% saturation.

   The sensor incorporates a bulk polymer resistance element. The polymer is impervious to most contaminants and, since it is a bulk resistance device, surface contaminants such as dust will not alter the accuracy of the readings.

   The unit is provided with continuous temperature compensation which adjusts for temperature-induced change in the RH sensor output. The compensation provides high measurement accuracy over the entire operating range of the instrument.

   The iTHX transmitter lets you monitor and record Temperature, Relative Humidity and Dew Point over an Ethernet network or the Internet with no special software except a Web browser.

   The iTHX serves Active Web Pages to display real time readings, display charts of temperature and humidity, or log data in standard data formats for use in a spreadsheet or data acquisition program such as Excel or Visual Basic.

Adjustable Charts

   The JAVATMApplet chart scales are fully adjustable on the fly. For example, the chart can display one hour, one day, one week, one month or one year. Temperature and humidity can be charted across the full span (0 to 70°C [32 to 158°F], and 10 to 90% RH) or within any narrow range such as 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F).

Award-Winning Technology

   The iTHX is simple to install and use, and features award-winning i®Server technology that requires no special software except a Web browser. The iTHX connects to an Ethernet Network with a standard RJ45 connector and sends data in standard TCP/IP packets. It is easily configured with a simple menu using a Web browser and can be password protected.

   From within an Ethernet LAN or over the Internet, the user simply types the IP address or an easy-to-remember name such as “Cleanroom 5” or “Midwest Server Room” in any Web Browser, and the iTHX serves a Web Page with the current readings.

Alarms and Email

   If temperature or humidity exceed a set limit, the iTHX can trigger an alarm that can be sent by email to an Internet enabled pager or cell phone.

   The RHCM series is a family of low cost, high performance chilled mirror dewpoint transmitters. The sensor provides accurate long term repeatability and high reliability performance for process control and energy management. The RHCM-10 sensor electronics are housed in a rugged enclosure which can be wall mounted for climate control. The RHCM-20 and RHCM-30 sensors are designed to be either pipe or duct mounted for process control in HVAC/Energy management applications. Field calibration is not required and the ambient temperature effects, hysteresis, and calibration drift with age are all virtually eliminated.

   The RHCM series offer a wide range of user specified power inputs including 24 Vdc, 24 Vac, 115 Vac and 230 Vac, for many applications. The user specified outputs include 100½ platinum RTD (4-wire) or 4 to 20 mA, which can be scaled over three different temperature ranges of 0 to 100°F, 0 to 50°C and -40 to 140°F. Either output can be directly connected to a panel meter, controller or data acquisition system.
