|
BARAVAC™ A/D serials of capacitance diaphragm vacuum pressure transducers are designed for accurate, reliable controlling pressure in a variety of applications. The combine special materials and new technologies are making BARAVAC™ vacuum gauges the most stable, high precision instrument for pressure measurement.
The BARAVAC™ A/D series are stand-alone capacitance transducer. It require ±15VDC (24V-30VDC) industrial standard power supply and provide a high level 0-10VDC (4-20mADC) output. This signal can be interfaced directly with BARAVAC™ pressure transducer, power supply/readout unit. Operating on the variable
capacitance technique, the CDG uses an Inconel-diaphragm. Inconel® is based Nickel alloy specifically developed for aggressive environment. It is resistant to wide range corrosive gases and has up to 10 times more corrosion-resistance then Stainless Steel 316. The radially-tensioned diaphragm provides very low hysteresis, very good repeatability, high resolution (0.01% of full scale). The differential capacitance is processed high accuracy electronics for improved environmental performance. |

BARAVAC™ Series A100 (Standard Absolute)
Series A100 are standard models of capacitance diaphragm gauges. These manometers are
available in full scale range from 1 to 1000 mmHg (Torr). They are provided dual voltage
power supplies: 15 VDC. Series A100 can be complete 15 Pin type “D” connector or 5
Connectors Screw terminal barrier strip.

BARAVAC™ Series A200 (High Accuracy)
Series A200 are high accuracy models. Accuracy of these models is 0.25%. Series A200 based
on A100, add constant temperature system for the sensor to reduce the influence of
environment temperature change, improve the accuracy to 0.25% by reduce the temperature draft. Its temperature factor is <±0.02%/°C.
These manometers are available in full scale range from 1 to 1000 mmHg (Torr).

BARAVAC™ Series A300 (explosion proof)
Series A300 are explosion proof absolute models. The enclosure of A 300 can resist inside
explosion, also, it can keep the explosion inside the enclosure without trigger the outside
explosive material in the field. It satisfies the requirements for vacuum measurement in an
explosive environment. These manometers are available in full scale range from 1 to 1000
mmHg (Torr).

Recommendations and applications
- The selection of an appropriate vacuum gauge for a particular application depends upon many factors. Some that should be considered are the required operating pressure range, repeatability of measurement, accuracy of measurement, transducer ruggedness, the presence of chemically reactive gas species, and any sensitivity to stray magnetic or electromagnetic fields.
- While all of these items can help influence the selection of an appropriate vacuum transducer from a theoretical perspective, experience in similar applications is by far the most meaningful and reliable method.
